Kwon Jiyong: That’s the thing. Even if I had heard of this incident from a third-party’s point of view, I wouldn’t have understood it, either. It’s a situation that makes no sense. If I was to think of exactly what had happened that day.... well, it was a party. And with it being the last day of concerts, we were all in a great mood. I was in a state where I had been drinking quite a lot and one of our managers should always be accompanying us, but that day they were also having a great time of their own, so I was alone the whole time. Then when I entered the restroom, the other guests who were invited to the party handed me a cigarette and I mindlessly accepted that. But from the position I was in, it would have also been awkward for me to have not accepted it as well. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with courtesy or not, but because they were the guests invited to a party we were hosting, as one of the hosts, I just accepted it and smoked it. As a celebrity, I know we need to be more aware of the people we interact with and be more careful with who they are, but my personality is very... well, it’s very different from when I am on stage and when I am not. On stage, I try to be this perfectionist who does everything right, but when I am off stage and behind the scenes, I’m the type of person who doesn’t really hide their actions. I do what I want and I tend to lack more responsibility.
