[NEWS] 121016 Sean takes the children to preschool every day in place of their busy mother, “A thoughtful and considerate action.”

Sean has shown a much heated affection toward his family.

On the October 16th episode of SBS ‘Good Morning’, artist Sean was revealed taking his daughter, Roh Haeum, and son, Roh Harang, to preschool every morning.

Sean spoke, “My wife, Jung Hyeyoung, usually won’t sign up for any other schedules (or tasks) in the morning if she already has other busy work to do. So in return, I’m in charge of the role of taking our children to preschool.” It has been widely revealed that Roh Haeum and Roh Harang receive much popularity in school due to their adorable appearance.

After dropping his daughter Roh Haeum off in class, Sean was unable to easily turn and walk away, worry casting over him. He continuously watched his daughter from afar. Accordingly, Sean gave a sweet kiss good-bye to both his children, showing an affectionate and fatherly side of himself.

About YG FRIENDS & tutorial on how to access the GUEST BOOK on the newly opened Official YG FRIENDS website!

The YG FRIENDS webpage is a site where selected official fan staff members from each fanclub (Lucky Se7en, V.I.P, Blackjack, etc.) will upload information, pictures, and fun/random things to talk about that happen within each fandom. (Read a clarification of YG FRIENDS, here and here.) There are three different types of YG FRIENDS:

1. Online Friends
2. Offline Friends
3. On-site Friends

Online Friends

• gathers diverse opinions and suggestions made by fans and will also be the voices that represent fans in the online world. They look forward to sharing fun, interesting information regarding the artists as efficiently as possible and help come up with ways to advertise the artists’ promotions.

Offline Friends

• are the representatives of fans and the fan culture in every district and region across the whole country(i.e. Seoul, Kwangjoo, Busan, etc.). They are in charge of what happens in the offline world, doing research and monitoring of the YGE artists and their whereabouts. If a YGE artist has an event in one district, the fan staffs of that specific district will be in charge of the things happening among the fans.

On-site Friends

• will be the fan staff members that attend the actual sites and scenes (hence “on-site”) of the artists’ music programs, show programs, live performances and events. Through the ‘On-site Friends’ page, these fan staffs will be posting up information and updates on what they do or did at these events to help manage the fans that attend (like helping them enter, getting seats, checking for identification, etc). They will also be sharing fun things that happened at these events and fanaccounts through this YG FRIENDS website.

Since YGFRIENDS members are specifically selected fan staffs, only they will be able to upload posts and topics on this website. However, everyone has access in viewing the content. After all, it’s a site to help maintain the unity of the fandoms.

There is one area on the site called GUEST BOOK where guests are allowed to voice out their comments or say hello from time to time. It’s a fairly easy process, but since the whole site is in Korean, some international fans have been asking me how to work their way around it. Here is a short & easy step by step tutorial.

• Go to www.ygfriends.com and look for ‘GUEST BOOK’ on the left-hand side menu. Click it, and it should lead you to a page that looks like, this.
• As you can see, there are a few sentences written in Korean in the gray-colored comment box. These are the rules and guidelines for posting in the Guest Book, as follows:

• Posts may not be edited after submission. They may only be deleted.
• If, for any reason, you would like to delete your entry, please remember to enter the same password you used to post it. Deletion will only work with the correct password.
• The site administrator holds the right to randomly delete posts and comments containing vulgarity, negative slang, reference or mentioning of celebrities outside of YG Entertainment, unconfirmed information, speculations, and assumptions.
• If the ‘username’ or ‘password’ you previously used continues to show up when unwanted, please check and update your internet browser to the latest version (IE, Chrome, Safari, etc).
• All post entries will undergo administrator inspection and approval before being revealed.

• Next, delete all the rules and guidelines written inside the gray comment box and write in your comment in placement of it. Like, this.
• Once your done writing your comment, enter in a desired “nickname” or “username” and password in the boxes underneath. Here. Keep in mind that this is not a permanent username and password. You may change it each time you post if you’d like. Just remember your password you inputted in case you end up wanting to delete a post.
• You’re almost done now! After the previous step, click on the button on the very right-hand side of the comment box, as seen here.
• Once you do that, you notification window will pop up, like this. It is asking, “Would you like to submit the post?” Click OK and a captcha should pop up, like this. Enter in whatever you get and click the green button on the left.
• This “captcha” will only show up the very first time you post something. After that, it remembers your IP address and all that good stuff. So when you decide to post again, it will not ask for a captcha input. However, if you end up deleting your internet cache and cookies, using a different computer or browser, it will ask for a captcha input again.

And there you go! Now you’re done! It’s a relatively new site, so let’s just respect it and follow their rules and guidelines when posting on the GUEST BOOK. This is a place for YG Family fans to come together and say hello or drop a few nice comments and inputs, not an area to cause problems. Hope this helped for those wondering! :)

[TRANS] 120326 YG FAMILY Strong Heart Special, the 3 biggest misconceptions about YG Entertainment!

On the coming episode of SBS Strong Heart on the 27th, BIGBANG, 2NE1, Se7en, Tablo, Psy, Gummy, and Sean have accompanied each other as guests on the show. On this night’s broadcast, it is safe to say that the YG family members will be sharing their moments and episodes that have happened within the company itself.

During the recording, the YG family members better explained the three biggest misconceptions about YG Entertainment to resolve the misunderstandings people may have. The first misconception spoken about during the show was how ‘YG does not look for appearance’. At this remark, Big Bang member, Daesung, abruptly began asking, “Why is everyone looking at me?”

Daesung then elaborated, “YGE definitely looks for physical appearance (when looking for new artists). However, the average scale marked is only about a 3.5… Our appearance standard is seemingly low.”

 The second misconception was that ‘YGE parties often’ or ‘parties well’. At this, the members of the YG family all blamed PSY in a disapproving, yet joking manner, claiming that it is all his fault. Seungri explained, “Ever since PSY came into our company, the way we party and the atmosphere of the parties have changed,” and also created a riot of laughter within the studio when he showcased his imitation of PSY at the company get-togethers.

Lastly, the third misconception of the company was, ‘CEO Yang is an angel.’ At this, all of YG family cocked their heads from side to side, showing responses of disapproval. The YG Family special episode of SBS Strong Heart will air on the coming 27th and also the 4th of April.

Just a few of the YG albums/dvds I have with me in Korea :) All my other YG media are in storage back in California and I’m going to have to leave these ones here since I can’t take them back with me tomorrow T_T I’ll bring the rest of my albums from Cali in the summer when I come back! You can see how old these albums are, all scratched up and broken… and it’s before they even had the “YG” logo. LOL. I also added Wheesung in there since it’s the albums he had while he was under YG :)

My visit to the YGE Building!! 

As most of you know, I’m going back to California in four days, so I thought I should finally go visit the YG building before I regret not going for the next few years! I don’t have TOO much to share, but I’ll try to make it as detailed as possible. So if it’s boring, bear with me lmao. I don’t even know where to start jksdahflkasjf

Morning of 2012.01.05 (today)

Woke up around 7:somethingish and went straight to take a shower, as always. After the shower I went into the kitchen to look for something to eat when my eyes came across the calendar on the wall. I realized that it was already the 5th and the first thing that came to mind was “YG BUILDING!” Like I stated before, I wanted to visit the building before I leave Korea for the next few years. I haven’t been able to visit it yet since I was always nervous of all the crazy sasaeng fans I was told about and also how the security is really tight. But today, I was just like fuckkk ittt. I’m going. Oh! And another reason why I never went was because I had no one to go with T_T I have a few VIP friends, but they were all busy with school (unlike me) so they never had the time to go. Today was different since most of them are on break.

Anyway, I called up two of my VIP friends to see if they were willing to take me there since they’ve already been there before. One of them was busy and my other friend, Haeun, was free so the two of us decided to go together. Haeun and I met at the Shindang station around 10 AM and grabbed a bus since the subway was way too crowded at the time. But all this is boring shit, so I’ll skip to the part when we arrived in Hapjung-Dong.

When the two of us arrived in Hapjung-Dong, we bumped into a group of three girls who were on their way to the building at well. They looked like they were way younger than us.. probably junior high schoolers? LOL. I felt kind of pathetic because all the other girls who came to the building later on were about 12-13 years old……;;

Anyway, the five us all got along instantly when we found out that we were all visiting the building for Big Bang (LOL) and practically skipped to the YG building. It took about a 25 minute walk into the neighborhood to finally get to it, though. Pretty tiring. It was around 11:40ish when we got to the front of the building. There were 6 other girls and 2 guys in front of the building waiting and just hanging around the ground. I thought the other six girls who were there might have been sasaeng fans, but it turns out they’ve only been to the building once or twice before today as well. They had much more knowledge about the building than I did.

When I tried walking up close to the entrance, the girls started screaming at me telling me not to or else they’ll all get kicked out of the street. Apparently, 2 out of the 4 security guards who take turns guarding the building are very anal about everything. From what I was told today was: they don’t want you standing around the building (they make you sit on the other side of the street/road), they don’t want you taking pictures (sometimes if they see your camera, even if it’s off, they’ll confiscate it. But that’s rare.), and they definitely don’t like it when fans are loud. I think the security guard who was on duty while my friend and I were there was having a good day or something… he wasn’t too evil like the girls said. He didn’t mind us walking around the front trying to peek in. He did however start getting irritated when we tried taking pictures since there were people coming in and out of the building. It wasn’t any of the YG artists, but I’m THINKING they were trainees since most of them were dressed in sweats and t-shirts. Plus, they looked really young. The security guard kept telling us, “Please put your cameras away. This is a non-picture zone!” LMFAO. I kept trying to sneak a few snaps, but my friend and the other girls shoved me to put it away because it was putting THEM at risk of being kicked out. So.. I have no pictures except for super blurry ones :(

Anyway! At around 1:00ish, we saw a black SUV driving into the front driveway of the building!!! klsdjhvlasdjkhlsa I can’t even begin to explain the feeling I had… like, I wasn’t sure if it was any of the YG artists, but it definitely didn’t seem like a staff or employee would drive such a spiffy car. So all the other girls and I ran up closer to see who it was and it was JINU!!!!!! OMFG. He’s so hot. Not even kidding. He was wearing like a reddish, burgundy flannel, jeans, and sunglasses but he looked SOO FINE. Even at that age, he was breathtaking <3 I, out of instinct, started screaming out his name and saying “OPPA! Jinu Oppa!!@#T@TRF#Q@G” (LOL, so cheesy, /sobs) trying to get his attention, but all he did was look over and then walk away. /SOBSEVENMORE. But I was just telling myself that it was okay and that he’s a big enough star to ignore me. ROFL T_T;;

Then about 10 minutes after Jinu’s arrival, another car that was charcoal colored (a freaking Audi) came rolling onto the street and into the front driveway. I started freaking out again wondering who it could be, getting all my hopes up, but it was some man. LOL. Don’t know who he is, though… so I didn’t care.

Then ANOTHER 10-15 minutes after that man arrived, another SUV (the same kind Jinu came in) parked into the driveway. By this time, I was just @_@ in too much awe after seeing Jinu, knowing that I might be breathing the same air as the YGE artists who could be inside the building (although, I was stupid to think that when I saw that Big Bang and 2ne1’s vans weren’t in the driveway -__-). But anywhoo, the person who stepped out of the second SUV that just parked was SE7EN!!!!!!!!! He was pretty unexpected. I didn’t really think of Se7en for some reason… but it was him! And he was looking AMAZING. I don’t even remember was he was wearing. All I know is that he looked hot nonetheless. I was too caught up in how cute he was! I started screaming my ass off along with Haeun and the other girls and OMG! It paid off! Before he was about to walk into the building, he stepped a few steps closer towards us, bowed and waved as he smiled like a little boy. Ahhh!! Then he hurriedly walked into the building, but it was just too sweet <3 He bowed. That touched my heart since a lot of the other fan accounts I’ve read and heard of him weren’t very nice. I expected him to just ignore us, but NO, he smiled and bowed and waved! lkdshflsjdga I mean, I’ve seen him before a few years back in America, but it was while he was being escorted into the parking lot by body guards, so he had no choice but to ignore the fans.

After Se7en’s arrival, I think I waited for about another 30 minutes before the security guard was leaving and another security guard was taking his duty. The new guard was one of the anal ones, I think. Because as soon as he saw us, he flat-out told us that Big Bang wasn’t coming for another few hours. The two guy fans I mentioned earlier were 2NE1 fans, so they asked the guard about 2NE1. The guard just told them to leave because he wasn’t sure when they were coming. I was willing to stay longer, but Haeun had to go back home for something so I just came home as well since I didn’t want to wait at the building by myself. Especially since I don’t really know my way around that part of the neighborhood.

So yeah… that was my pretty boring and lame fan account of the YGE building. Didn’t get to see Big Bang :( But Jinu and Se7en were enough for me! I didn’t expect to actually see anyone. I just really wanted to know how big the building actually was (and it’s pretty damn huge. The balconies on each floor were also decked out with nice furniture as well), but seeing Jinu and Se7en made my day! I think I can leave for Cali much happier now :) IF my sister has time on the 7th, I’m going to try to go again, but I doubt it.

An old picture of singer, Sean, from the hip hop duo Jinusean, has become an overdue hot topic circling around the web when it was told that the picture was from his backdancing days before debut.

On an online community on the past 18th, the picture was uploaded under a topic titled ‘What are Seo Taiji, Yang Hyunsuk, and Sean doing right now?’

The original uploader of this photo also included, “The person on the very left out of the three people is Sean, next to him is Yang Hyunsuk! The person wearing the red jumper is Seo Taiji!” and that, “It was said that they didn’t want a picture taken of themselves because they were shy, but they did anyway, so that’s why their expressions and poses are so…”

As seen in the photo, Sean is wearing a plaid shirt and baggy jeans along with his short, permed hair. Next to him is Yang Hyunsuk and Seo Taiji looking very young compared to how they appear now.
